All-Russian Decorative Art Museum holds exhibition as part of Culture Days of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM – The All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art opened an exhibition “Kylymdardyn murasy” (Centuries heritages) dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast.
The event is held as part of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and was attended by Deputy Minister, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Timurlan Ajymaliyev, the press service of the Ministry of Culture reports.
The exhibition showcased precious metal works from ancient times. Visitors were particularly interested in the ancient art of early nomads – saka (VIII-III BC) and great nomads (I-V BC).
The exhibition also presented the yurt – a traditional dwelling of Kyrgyz.
The exhibition will last run until October 21.
