Company’s architectural approach resolves core bottlenecks in quantum scalability, offering a viable path to commercial advantage where traditional architectures fall short
NESS ZIONA, Israel, June 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Quantum Art, a developer of full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion qubits and a proprietary scale-up architecture, today announced the release of its technology and product roadmap targeting 1,000 Qubits and Quantum Advantage by 2027 and a 1 million physical qubit system by 2033. The roadmap also includes the 2025 introduction of a 50-qubit system, and the rollout of an ultra-dense 2D architecture system in 2029 that will scale from 12,000 to 40,000 physical qubits and support thousands of logical qubits by 2031.
The company’s approach is centered around four core technological pillars: multi-qubit gates capable of executing the equivalent of up to 1,000 two-qubit operations in a single step; optical segmentation of long ion chains into independently operating cores using laser-defined boundaries; dynamic reconfiguration of multi-core arrays for rapid entanglement generation and distribution; and modular, high-density 2D structures that allow physical qubits to scale efficiently within compact footprints. The result is systems with up to 100 times more gates per second, 100 times more parallel operations, and a footprint up to 50 times smaller than leading competitor roadmaps, enabling faster progress toward Quantum Advantage, greater algorithmic complexity, and robust quantum error correction.
Quantum Art’s first-generation system, the Montage series, is scheduled for introduction in 2025 and will offer a Quantum-as-a-Service platform of up to 50 qubits as early as Q1’26. This will be followed in 2027 by the Perspective series, featuring 1,000 physical qubits and up to 100 logical qubits. Perspective is expected to demonstrate Commercial Quantum Advantage and will introduce the company’s full architecture stack at scale. In 2029, the roadmap marks the launch of the Landscape series, an ultra-dense 2D quantum processing unit featuring 12,000 qubits, scaling to 40,000 qubits and thousands of logical qubits by 2031. Finally, the Mosaic series, anticipated in 2033, will reach 1 million physical qubits within a 50x50mm² footprint, enabling fully fault-tolerant quantum computing for high-impact applications across materials discovery, finance, logistics, defense, and beyond.
