MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — An appetite for art and soup can make a big difference to those experiencing hunger along the Gulf Coast. Art Soup 2025, benefitting the Love All Pantry in Mobile, is set for November.

According to a Love All Pantry news release, the event will take place Nov. 6 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf and will feature handcrafted bowls from local artists, soups, breads and desserts from local restaurants and live music by Disco Lemonade.

Love All Pantry is a network of volunteers and donors who work together to provide nutritious groceries to those who are experiencing food insecurity and hunger, according to the Love All Pantry website.
According to Love All Pantry’s website, Alabama is the fifth poorest state in the nation, leaving 17 percent of adults and 23 percent of children without enough food. That’s 1 in four children suffering from food insecurity, the website said.
“Access to quality food unleashes the creativity of kids, freeing them to pursue a future limited only by their imagination,” the website said.
Art Soup is the annual fundraising event for Love All Pantry, raising more than $37,000 last year.
This year’s event features handcrafted bowls created exclusively by local ceramic and glass artists for Art Soup.
What’s a bowl without something to go in it, right? So patrons will be able to try more than 20 soups, breads and desserts made by Mobile’s top restaurants, while enjoying live music and perusing the silent auction items selected by local artists.
Four photo booths will be available to capture the memories, while a bowl and coat check will keep hands free “to eat more soup,” the release said.
Love All Pantry’s goal this year is to beat last year’s amount.
“In 2024, Art Soup raised over $37,000 for the Pantry. We hope to increase our gift to $50,000 in 2025,” the release said.
“Every dollar raised goes directly to the Love All Pantry at Central, which tirelessly serves over 3,000 local families each month by providing essential fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and grains,” the release said.
Pre-sale tickets are now available, with several options to choose from. Gold level tickets are $45 and allow early entry at 6 p.m., while $75 platinum level tickets allow still earlier entry at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event for $50 for 6:30 p.m. entry. One child 12 and under gets free admission with one adult ticket purchase.
