As Avengers: Doomsday wrapped filming last week, new promotional art is making the rounds online. And Marvel fans, this one is exciting! It gives fans a sneak peek into the final official outfits of 28 characters in Doomsday, including the much-anticipated villain Doctor Doom.
The artwork, owned by SFX/Makeup artist Gi Ponchi as part of a crew gift, was posted by the MUA on her Instagram handle, captioning, “I can finally post this.”
For those trying to identify the lineup, the characters from left to right are: Doctor Doom, Mister Fantastic, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Magneto, Beast, Ghost, Thor, Invisible Woman, Black Panther, Red Guardian, Professor X, Cyclops, Falcon, Captain America, The Thing, Shang-Chi, M’Baku, Gambit, Nightcrawler, The Sentry, Ant-Man, Human Torch, Loki, Namor, Mystique, U.S. Agent, and Franklin Richards.
From what’s visible, Thor is once again sporting his Infinity War-style short hair, while X-Men mutants are slipping into more comic-accurate outfits. As for the Fantastic Four team, they also seem to have received a costume makeover, although they already showcased a fully comic-accurate version in The Fantastic Four: First Step.
As a matter of fact, nearly every character appears to have received a costume tweak – small or big – leaning more faithfully toward the comics. It only makes sense, after all, they will be suiting up for an event as monumental as Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026.
