A contemporary art exhibition celebrating Ryedale artists is set to open.
The Makers of Rye exhibition will take place in Sinnington, North Yorkshire, showcasing works by a collective of eight artists from the Kirkbymoorside area.
Visitors can view and purchase a variety of art forms, including paintings, ceramics, and textiles, within the transformed village hall gallery setting.
The event runs over Easter weekend, April 4 and April 5, from 10am to 4pm.
The hall, boasting views of the village green and River Seven, also invites guests to engage with the creators over a cup of Yorkshire tea and a slice of home-baked cake.
The collective derives its name from the River Rye, an emblematic feature of the area.
Organisers of the event express hope that it will provide an “alternative channel for artists and makers to engage directly with the public”, aiming for it to evolve into an annual occurrence.
Event-goers can also avail themselves of free parking in the vicinity.
