A new promo art has offered a glimpse at Avengers: Doomsday, teasing fresh designs and a stacked ensemble of heroes and villains. The images hint at updated suits, classic inspirations, and the arrival of several key characters, though Marvel has yet to provide official details.

Shared by SFX/Makeup artist Gi Ponci originally as part of crew gifts, the artwork showcases the heroes and villains in updated or comic-accurate suits. It was later reposted by several X (formerly Twitter) users.
The images confirm appearances by Doctor Doom, Mister Fantastic, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Magneto, Beast, Ghost, Thor, Invisible Woman, Shuri, Red Guardian, Professor X, Cyclops, Falcon, Captain America (Sam Wilson), The Thing, Shang-Chi, M’Baku, Gambit, Nightcrawler, The Sentry, Ant-Man, Human Torch, Loki, Namor, Mystique, U.S. Agent, and reportedly Franklin Richards.
The Fantastic Four wear their signature blue-and-white uniforms, while Thor sports shorter hair reminiscent of his Infinity War design. X-Men members such as Cyclops, Beast, Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Magneto showcase comic-faithful costumes. Doctor Doom stands out alongside updated designs for Namor and M’Baku. The Sentry’s appearance confirms Bob Reynolds embracing his unstable alter ego, while speculation surrounds whether the final character represents Franklin Richards or Valeria Richards.
Avengers: Doomsday wrapped filming earlier this week. Anthony and Joe Russo direct the movie, with Stephen McFeely writing the screenplay and Michael Waldron contributing. The confirmed cast features Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Danny Ramirez, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, and Channing Tatum join the ensemble.
Marvel has scheduled Avengers: Doomsday for release on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
