COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A new state-of-the-art playground and classroom space is making nature more accessible for young learners.
The new space is possible with a grant from the PNC Foundation.
The nature playscape was designed for the Hilltop YMCA Preschool Program. Pre-K students can engage all of their senses while exploring the playscape, which is directly attached to their classroom.
Leaders said all of the elements of the playscape work together to blend nature, play and curriculum to create a safe space for all children.

The playscape is the second of its kind in central Ohio.
