Havens hospices will participate in the Leigh Art Trail on July 5 and 6, with an exhibition at The Living Room on Leigh Road.
The show presents artwork created during counselling sessions or wellbeing support groups, exploring the experiences of children living with and caring for someone they love who has an incurable condition.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of the charity’s Wellbeing Team and explore creative ways to support children dealing with grief and bereavement, whether at home or in educational settings.
A spokesman for Havens hospices said: “The art exhibition, called ‘Do You See Me?’, will feature beautiful artwork created during counselling sessions or wellbeing support groups.
“Come along to meet our Wellbeing Team and learn about creative activities you can do at home or school to support children through grief and bereavement.”
