A new exhibition celebrating students and staff from the Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service (RALSS) recently opened at Rutland County Museum.
Students taking art classes at the RALSS adult learning centre at Oakham Enterprise Park, along with staff, have created a range of pieces that will be on show to members of the public until Saturday, November 9.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a display of ceramics, sculptures, watercolour paintings, drawings and mixed media pieces artwork.
The classes aim to inspire students to explore their creativity and expand their horizons. Students are taught techniques and styles used by other artists to help them create their art.
Councillor Diane Ellison, portfolio holder for Adults and Health at Rutland County Council, said: “We would really encourage members of the public to take the opportunity to come and view this new exhibition.
“It is clear that a great deal of time and effort has gone in to creating these impressive pieces of art and we are pleased to be able to showcase their talent.
“RALSS offers a wide range of classes in art and crafts and languages, as well as more formal qualifications in subjects like English, maths, counselling skills and ICT.”
The RALSS art and ceramics exhibition is free to visitors and will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10am-4pm.
