The “Celebrate Swindon” contest, in partnership with the Mayor of Swindon and Swindon Borough Council, invites residents to share what makes the town special to them through art.
Participants are encouraged to create pieces that reflect their personal connections to Swindon, whether it’s a specific place, person, or group that holds significance to them.

The competition is open to all ages, with individual entries divided into categories: 0–7 years, 8–11 years, 12–18 years, and over 18 years.
Family group entries are also welcomed.
Artworks can be in any medium, including digital, print, collage, drawing, paint, photography, or 3D work, but must be no larger than A4 size.
Winners from each category will have their artwork displayed in the Activity Space at Museum & Art Swindon.
They will also receive a Swindon-themed voucher prize, tailored to their age group.
To enter, participants must fill in an entry form and submit their artwork to Museum & Art Swindon, Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon SN1 2JH.
The deadline for entries is 4.30pm on Saturday, August 30.
