You know spring has arrived when The Margaret Acheson Stuart Society and the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, present their annual Art in Bloom fundraiser featuring local floral designers’ imaginative interpretations of artworks in the museum’s permanent collection. Co-chairs Nancy Westphal and Nancy Rutland welcomed guests to Flowers After Hours on April 10, a “Midnight in the Garden” cocktail party with jazz vocalist Sierra Amora performing. The next day, Danielle Dall’Armi Hahn, author of “The Color of Roses,” wowed with her Rose Story Farm varieties at a sold-out luncheon at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. The series concluded April 13 with Conversations with the Designers, where makers shared their creative processes, from inspiration to blooming display, with museumgoers.
