Aptly named The Beginning, the exhibition at the studios on Hampson Street, Horwich, showcases artworks including oil paintings, photography and more.
More than 45 pieces are on show at the exhibition which will run until March 28.
Artists include Maria Ivanova who uses watercolour to create poignant and emotive pieces which resonate with everyone.
Karen Holt work is influenced by landscape and place, using paint and mixed media to create feelings of warmth and emotion.
“Patrick Taylor works between structure and atmosphere. With a foundation in architecture, his compositions carry rhythm and thoughtful construction. Memory and imagination sit side by side in work that hovers between the real and the abstract.
Jackie Williams explores the shifting energies of landscape and light. Her acrylic pieces evoke wild moorlands and coastal paths.
John Harding moves fluidly between illustration and painting.
Maggie Bruce works intuitively, building resin and mixed media layers that create depth and movement in her work.
Julia Entwistle impressionistic landscapes are driven by atmosphere through oil and acrylic surfaces. These are described as romanticised interpretations of the North, designed to stir something deeper than recognition.
Rob Edmondson captures the shifting moods of British countryside. His acrylic landscapes carry stillness and solitude.
Tina Hurst brings sustainability and material curiosity into the room with her minimalist compositions speak quietly of environment and place. There is restraint here, and intention.
Peter Arkwright works primarily in oil, shifting between physical energy and emotional introspection.
