Eddisbury Artists, who have been based at Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham since 1996, are launching their latest exhibition, Amazing Nature, in celebration of 30 years at the centre.
The show runs from Tuesday, May 19, to Saturday, June 27 and features artwork inspired by the natural world.

Sam Robson, a Royal Society prize-winning artist from Weaverham and member of the group, said: “This exhibition feels even more special, as it also coincides with Castle Park Arts Centre’s 40th anniversary.
“Castle Park Arts Centre has been a long-standing, loyal supporter of our group’s artistic efforts – sharing our commitment to creativity, artistic expression and community engagement.
“It feels especially fitting to present our latest exhibition there at such a significant milestone for both organisations.”

Eddisbury Artists is made up of 17 artists from north west Cheshire who meet regularly to draw, paint and organise exhibitions.
They originally met in a room behind the Frodsham Post Office before moving to the arts centre.
Since then, the group has participated in a full programme of indoor and outdoor artistic activities.

Members explore a range of media and styles, leading to a diverse and lively exchange of ideas.
They were previously involved in creating a poster for the 800th anniversary of Frodsham, a project organised by the Frodsham and District History Society in collaboration with the Frodsham and District Photographic Society.
For the Amazing Nature exhibition, members took inspiration from the landscapes and wildlife of Cheshire.

Ms Robson said: “Inspiration comes from everywhere but, for this exhibition, we’ve focused on ‘Amazing Nature’, which Cheshire is certainly blessed with.
“From flowering plants to birdlife, insects to mammals, our members have explored a wide range of natural subjects – each bringing a distinctive perspective shaped by their own interests and experiences.
“We hope the exhibition encourages visitors to take a stroll around the extensive parkland grounds surrounding the centre, and to engage further with the forthcoming events programme as it continues its 30th celebrations.”
