“The Other Art Fair has always been about discovery, connection and breaking down barriers in the art world,” said Global Fair Director Nicole Garton. “This year’s Los Angeles edition is our biggest yet, and we’re thrilled to bring together such a diverse group of artists and engaging programs for collectors and first-time visitors alike.”
Returning to Barker Hangar, the 14th installment of the event will feature an eclectic lineup of contemporary works, immersive and interactive experiences, family-friendly activities and live performances.
The Other Art Fair works to make art collection an accessible, fun practice for everyone with pieces ranging from under $200 to $2,000. Presented by online gallery Saatchi Art, it has provided a platform for almost 10,000 artists to sell over 100,000 pieces since it began in 2011. Host to 12 fairs annually, The Other Art Fair pops up in cities in the United Kingdom and Australia, alongside the U.S.

Among the 150 artists, Los Angeles–based artist Kipkemoi will debut new works as part of his earning of the New Futures Award, which grants mentorship and a complimentary booth. The self-taught German-Kenyan artist primarily uses acrylic to explore themes of home and identity through bright palettes and monochromatic portraiture
For its first time ever, The Other Art Fair will tap into the wellness-inclined nature of Los Angeles and present the soul-cleansing Dread Spa. When not perusing art, visitors can choose from a series of restorative experiences for a chakra tune-up. Options include Auditory Odyssey, a sound bath by Allison Bagg; The Salon Carré art parlor; animal guide oracle readings by Alycia Shiann; aura portraits by Mad Watson and The Karmacy 2.0, a karmic exchanges installation.
