Where to eat at the 2025 Ann Arbor Art Fair

ANN ARBOR, MI — Whether you’ve worked up a hearty appetite browsing the art or just want a cold treat to help beat the heat, the Ann Arbor Art Fair will have plenty of tasty snacks to sample.

The Ann Arbor Art Fair takes over downtown Ann Arbor from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 17, and Friday, July 18, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 19. The fair is made of three individual fairs: The Guild’s Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, the Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair, and the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, The Original. Each fair is independently juried and together bring in roughly 1,000 artists each year.

This year’s fair will have a combination of grab-and-go restaurant locations, food trucks and food vendors mixed in with the art. This will also be the first year that a plethora of Zingerman’s food businesses will be under one tent at the Original Culinary Arts Gallery on Ingalls Mall.

Check out these spots to eat while perusing art at the fair:

Grab-and-go restaurant locations

While these vendors have restaurants in downtown Ann Arbor, they will also have booths for a quick option.

New York Pizza Depot

Grab a slice (or two) at New York Pizza Depot, which offers up the fan favorite in New York, Chicago and Detroit styles. Get classic cheese or one of the many combinations of toppings.

Find NYPD at booths 601 through 607 on William Street or at their storefront at 605 E. William St.

Iggy’s Eggies

The breakfast and brunch spot known for its handheld egg sandwiches will have its own booth on East Liberty Street. Get the Iggycado, featuring a jammy egg, avocado and baby Swiss cheese, or a build-your-own sandwich.

Amer’s Deli

From sandwiches to coffee to acai bowls, Amer’s Deli is a one-stop shop. Sandwiches feature corned beef, roast beef, smoked turkey, prosciutto and a variety of other toppings and meats. Vegetarian sandwiches and salads are also available.

Find Amer’s Deli at booth 322 through 326 on State Street or at 314 S. State St.

Zingerman’s

For the first time this year, seven of Zingerman’s businesses will be under one tent on Ingalls Mall, 881 N. University Ave. Find Zingerman’s Creamery, Zingerman’s Roadhouse, Zingerman’s Bakery and other Zingerman’s businesses for a variety of coffees, pastries and other snacks.

Miss Kim, also a part of Zingerman’s community of businesses, will be serving up their own Korean dishes.

Street food vendors and food trucks

Those looking for food more of the handheld variety can find it among the street food vendors and food trucks at the Art Fair.

Maison Wurst

Maison Wurst serves up authentic German street food alongside French-inspired dishes. Check out the currywurst, featuring a bratwurst smothered in spiced curry ketchup, or the raclette, made with a fresh baguette and prosciutto.

Tacos El Panda

Although this food truck can typically be found in Ypsilanti, this year’s Art Fair patrons will have the chance to sample its tacos, quesadillas and burritos.

The burritos feature a choice between chicken, al pastor, steak, shredded beef or chorizo and toppings. Tacos are served on corn tortillas with a choice of meat, onion and cilantro.

Wash it down with cinnamon-laden horchata.

Vegano Italiano

Vegan art perusers can get their fill at Vegano Italiano, an all-vegan Italian eatery. Check out the arancini, made with fresh herbs, three plant-based cheeses and lightly fried, or go hand-held with the pizza fritte, a Neapolitan-style deep fried pizza.

Find Vegan Italiano on E. Washington Street near Thayer Street.
