Meet the Artist

Denja Harris represents a new generation of artists who refuse to be confined by traditional categories. Working out of San Diego‘s South Bay, she creates experimental soft sculptures that blur the lines between painting, sculpture, and textile art.

Her approach is refreshingly intuitive, building layered, free-form abstract patterns that develop organically rather than following predetermined plans.

What makes Harris’s work particularly compelling is her commitment to sustainable practices. She intentionally sources second-hand and dead-stock yarn, transforming discarded materials into vibrant new artworks.
